It had a distinctive design with a central nacelle and twin booms

It was powered by 4 Rolls Royce Merlin engines and was capable of carrying a variety of payloads

In 1960 Fairey merged with Westland Aircraft. Many aircraft were manufactured including the Flycatcher, Swordfish, Gannet and Rotodyne. This design has a deliberate weathered and aged look.
