Constructed of feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41. 51 mm (w) x 53. 67 mm (h), weighing 26. 4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
