This is a wonderful condition Imperial German Model 1889 Infantry Officer sword and scabbard, with a very nice nickel plated blade. The hilt is a gilded brass D shape fold away guard with the Imperial German eagle of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The grip is triple twisted brass wire bound over black celluloid, with a brass cypher of the Kaiser in the center. The grip is in very good condition, and still tight to the tang. This
