Radiant Old Painted Folk Art Watermelon Slice chess pieces 10” tallI never paid much attention to folk art watermelon then I found this beautiful slice and realized its all about glorious color! Surface, too, here, with perfectly aged paint, showing a little more cracking on one side than the other. There's a pale green tint to the inner rind, and the red, with creamy white and black seeds dotting it, is just perfection.
