This is a scarce set of ARMOR, VEST, NYLON T 52 1 dating to the 1950s, likely an experimental example as there is very little reference to this set. The Army was experimenting with different materials across the vest, resulting in the T 52, T 52 1, T 52 2, and T 52 3. This set, the T 52 1, saw field testing in Korea in mid 1952. The set is marked Size Medium. The stamping inside the vest reads: MEDIUM ARMOR, VEST,
