2024 Louis Billard Vosne-Romanee, Cote de Nuits, France Tempier one-third in 1990From ~55 year old vines on classic Vosne limestone marl, a seven day cold soak precedes an 18 day native ferment with early pump overs and light punch downs; its 100% whole cluster, aged 14 months in barrel (20% new) plus 2 months stainless, filtered slowly (lenticular), and bottled at ~15 mg L free SO (1,340 bottles).
